Local photographer Michael Howard aims to create images that are meaningful and full of intention, full of purpose. His theory is that photography should make a statement about life rather than being just images of another pretty face. That passion is reflected in these hauntingly beautiful images that remind us that things are not always as they seem.
“I think the best pictures are often on the edges of any situation. I don’t find photographing a situation as interesting as photographing
the edges.”
– William Allen Allard
