Nashville Arts Magazine | PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION
Nashville Arts Magazine announces our third annual photography competition! Last year, we saw a stunning array of Nashville’s talent, and we can’t wait to see what 2012 brings!
And the winners are…
We will feature winning entries in our August issue and include the top 10 in our Annual Nashville Arts Magazine Photography exhibition. The competition is open to all amateur photographers, so send us your best shot!
.
Entry & Submission Guidelines
Definition of “amateur photographer”: If your photography comprises 50% of your income or less.
.
Email your hi-res photos (maximum of 3 photos) to photo@nashvillearts.com
.
Include in your email:
*Name
*Phone Number (Don’t forget! We must be able to reach you in a timely manner after winners are chosen!)
.
Your photos must be high resolution photographs–at a minimum of around 1,000 by 1,000 pixels, at 300 dpi. (We would prefer at least 2,000 by 2,000 pixels or higher, at 300 dpi.) This is to ensure your image will be of a high enough quality to print in the magazine, if chosen.
.
Please send the photos as either jpegs or tiff files.
.
You may send them all in one email, or in three consecutive emails. (Please label subject lines with your name and “Email 1 of 3″, etc.)
.
There is NO theme or specific genre we are looking for. We are open to creativity!
.
Please, do not include watermarks or signatures on your photos. They will be thrown out from the competition, as our judges should not see names with photos during the judging process.
.
Deadline to send photos is midnight on Sunday, June 10, 2012.
