Mark your calendars for June 16. The Porter Flea returns, with a bigger-than-ever show at Marathon Music Works, 1402 Clinton Street in Nashville. This hip and trendy craft fair shows off some of the city’s up-and-coming young talent. Originally conceived by East Nashville’s Friendly Arctic Printing and Design, this showcase debuted to rave reviews in July of 2011. The semi-annual event includes vendors who specialize in modern handmade wares and vintage finds. Enjoy unique paper goods, jewelry, apparel, antiques, artwork, and home decor. The juried selection of regional and local artisans will delight crowds with a fresh take on contemporary arts and crafts. The festival will also include music by live DJs. Go hungry, because some of Nashville’s favorite noshes will be available via an army of popular food trucks.
