Show Theme: What have you captured or created that portrays a sense of peace in these turbulent times?


Media: Any art suited to our display space will be considered. All 2D mediums and smaller 3D mediums dependent upon the display needs of the piece.


Eligibility: Everyone is welcome, professionals, amateurs and students alike. Eligible images are ones that have not previously been exhibited and were created in the last 12 months.


Selection & Viewing Process: Works will be viewed and selected by the Chromatics 2nd Floor Gallery Curators from files submitted.


Entry Limit & Fee: Limit 5 entries per person. There is a $10.00 per piece non-refundable entry fee. Entry fee must accompany submissions. It can be paid by check payable to Chromatics or by Paypal@chromatics.com.


Files and File-Names:

  1. Files should be high quality .jpg, no smaller than 1 MB no larger than 2 MB
  2. Orient images correctly (i.e. top of image is top of artwork).
  3. Artist’s Last Name must be first in the filename.
  4. File names for any alternate views must include the word “detail”.
  5. Include a document file (Word .doc or .docx preferred. pdf also accepted) detailing the entrant’s

Name, Address, Phone Number, Email Address

and a list of each entry with

File name, Title, Medium, Final Fr amed Dimensions, and Sale Price.


Two Entry Methods: Files attached to an E-mail (preferred) or Files on CD.


Entering by E-mail:

  1. Send a single email to ChromaticsGallery@gmail.com with all files attached.
  2. Write GALLERY ENTRY in the Subject Field.
  3. Entries without complete contact information, as listed above, will be rejected.


Entering by CD:

  1. Label CD with artist’s name, number of entries and telephone number.
  2. Entries without complete contact information, as listed above, will be rejected.
  3. CD’s cannot be returned.

Delivery and Return of Work: All accepted work must arrive “installation-ready”. Installation-ready means with a hanging device or pedestal (sculpture only). Works not gallery-ready, poorly crafted or differing significantly from the entry images may be rejected.

Work may be hand delivered or shipped. Shipped works must be in a reusable container with a prepaid return shipping label included.


Display/Framing Requirements: All traditionally framed works shipped to Chromatics must use acrylic. DO NOT SHIP

GLASS FRONTED PIECES. No partial frames such as clips or brackets will be accepted.

We reserve the right to rescind our acceptance of any piece that is received to display in a substandard or non-professional method.

Please attach a label to the upper left corner on the BACK of the work that details the artist’s name, phone number, title, medium, and price.


Liability: Chromatics PhotoImaging, Chromatics Second Floor Gallery and Borum Photographics, Inc., will not be responsible for works damaged, lost or stolen. Artists may provide their own insurance.


Sale of Work: All work, unless indicated as NFS (not for sale) will be available for sale during the exhibit. Chromatics Second Floor Gallery will retain a 30% commission on all work sold during the exhibition.


Gallery Hours: coincide with Chromatics business hours: 8:30 – 5:00 Monday – Thursday.


Calendar: Accepted work must remain on display for the duration of the exhibition.

Aug. 18th – Acceptance notifications sent via email

Sept. 12th- 14th– Artwork Due Date, for installation

Sept. 29th – Show Opens/ Artwork on Display

Sept. 29th – Public Reception Honoring the Artists

January 12, 2017 – Final Day of Exhibition

Jan. 16th- 19th – Pick-up/ Ship Artwork
