The Pet Community Center will hold its annual “Art for Animals” fundraiser Saturday, May 6 at The Factory at Franklin. More than 20 local and national artists are expected to contribute to live and silent auctions, including: Trevor Mikula, Arthur Kirkby, Gina Julian, Elaine Burge, Curtiss Brock, Robin Panzer, Ron York, Miranda Herrick, Kristen Moger, Paige Morehead, and Bradley Wilson.
Pet Community Center is a non-profit that provides low-cost and free health services to cats and dogs at its clinic in East Nashville, and programs for keeping pets out of shelters. The center has served over 30,000 animals since opening in 2014, and has significantly contributed to the 64 percent drop in cats and dogs entering the Metro Nashville Animal Care and Control system.
