For one day out of the year, Music City celebrates friends, neighbors, family and tomatoes at the Tomato Art Fest, to be held Saturday, August 14, in Historic East Nashville. The Seventh Annual Tomato Art Fest promises live music, one-of-a-kind contests, kid-friendly events, art, fashion, food, and fun. Last year, twenty thousand attendees filled the streets of East Nashville’s Five Points. A community builder, the Tomato Art Fest has grown steadily since its humble beginning in 2004.
This year’s Fest is focused on raising money for victims of the flood. The Tomato Art Fest will donate $1 out of every $5 collected through PayPal on their website to flood relief and divide the contributions between the East Nashville Flood Relief and the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.
