On Tuesday, March 1, 2016, nationally acclaimed soprano Holli Harrison will be returning to her native Middle Tennessee to join the Ethos Philharmonic Orchestra in a benefit concert in Murfreesboro. Harrison, who made her debut on the Metropolitan Opera stage earlier this year as Berta in Bartlett Sher’s acclaimed production of Gioachino Rossini’s Il Barbiere di Siviglia, will perform works by Strauss, DuParc, and Copland. Proceeds from the event will benefit Ethos, a Rutherford county based organization that serves over 150 youth in the area through three youth orchestras, a wind symphony, jazz band, and a graded children’s choir program.

According to Dr. Brian Russell, Music Director of the Ethos Youth Ensembles and conductor of the Ethos Philharmonic, “Holli is heralded as one of America’s most promising young dramatic sopranos. The students of Ethos are excited to accompany such an accomplished musician and the audience will most certainly be thrilled with her voice.”

Tickets to this event are $50 and include an after-concert reception with the artist sponsored by the Murfreesboro Symphony Guild. Tickets can be purchased online at or by calling 615.668.7480.
