The Nashville Holocaust Memorial is sponsoring an essay contest! The contest is open to all students who visited the Nashville Holocaust Memorial during their 6th-12th grade school year.

One entry per student. Entries shouldn’t exceed 1000 words and must be typed, double-spaced, and in Times New Roman, 12-point font. A cover sheet must include a name, address, phone number, email address, name of school and teacher, grade, age and date the Memorial was visited!

Judging will be based on creativity and the passion conveyed in an essay! The judging will be done in two categories, the first will be 6th-8th grade, and the second will be from 9th-11th grade!

All entries must be submitted to by September 1st! In each category the first place prize will be $100, the second prize is $50, and the third-place prize is $25! Submit your work to show what a huge effect the Holocaust Memorial has had on you and can have on others!
