Love Song is a funny, enchanting, and touching comedy about the power of love in all its forms. Its premiere at the former Inglewood United Methodist Church will be October 28, and the show runs through November 6.
Directed by Halena Kays and starring Nashville actors Lauren Berst, Aaron Munoz, Eric D. Pasto-Crosby, and Tamara Todres, the show tells the story of Beane, an aloof oddball. His sister, Joan, and brother-in-law, Harry, try to make time for him in their busy lives but no one can get through. Following a burglary on Beane’s apartment, Joan is baffled to find her brother blissfully happy and tries to unravel the story behind his mysterious new love, Molly.
Kays is a professor of acting at MTSU and has been nominated for a Jefferson Citation for Best Supporting Actress and Best Direction. She was the recipient of the 3Arts Award.
