O’More College of Design’s highly anticipated and renowned annual event, the 2017 O’More Designer Show House, closes this weekend on November 12. This beautifully cohesive project showcases the artistic design work of 18 interior designers, many of whom are alumni of O’More’s Interior Design program and who are now regional and nationally-acclaimed interior designers. Each designer was responsible for the vision and execution of one of the 17 rooms that fills the 4,015-square foot house. The house is located in Você, a new neighborhood off of Granny White Pike in Nashville. Unlike the grid pattern that most neighborhoods adhere to, Você is laid out to be complementary to the natural surrounding landscape. The design of the Show House sought to do the same – pulling in colors from the nature that surrounds it, the designers used neutral and light colors, which highlights the striking colors of the outdoors. Each room is filled with natural light that pours in from the windows, creating a sense of oneness with the outdoors.
The Show House is open to the public until November 12th. Show hours are 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. And Sunday from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. For more information and to purchase tickets, please visit https://www.omoreshowhouse.com/.
